HOW TO START CF4E
Most people are intimidated by CrossFit! For this reason, we developed our Fundamental Program. This program was developed for beginner CrossFitters. It will prove to you that CROSSFIT IS FOR EVERYONE! We believe this so strongly, that we changed our name to this motto! So how do we prove this to you? We have you start with this three-step process that safely introduces you to the exciting world of CrossFit. It’s as easy as ABC!
STEP A: FREE TRIAL CLASS
We will start with a tour of the CF4E facility and explain how everything runs in our CrossFit Box (gym). Then we will go through some of the foundational skills of CrossFit and put your through a WOD (work out of the day). CrossFit is open to all fitness levels.
You DO NOT have to be “in shape” to start CrossFit! You just have to make that 1st step and try it!
STEP B: FUNDAMENTAL PERSONAL TRAINING
After your FREE TRIAL CLASS, you move onto two private lessons with a CF4E Coach. You will learn the essential skills of CrossFit that will enable you to participate in regular WODs. You will learn the essential skills that are instrumental to CrossFit, including gymnastics, metabolic conditioning and strength training. We will teach you proper form and mechanics of barbell movements, including the Olympic lifts. Above all, you will understand how to modify and scale these skills to your ability. (Proving that CrossFit is for everyone, including you!)

STEP C: BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE CF4E FAMILY
Once you have finished the Fundamental Classes, you will decide if the “CrossFit Kool-Aid” is for you or not! If you want to continue, we will discuss the Membership options and decide which one is for you. Then we will sign you up and get you your 1st CF4E t-shirt!
Now you will start participating in the regular group WODs. However, we are not just going to throw you into the deep end! You will need to do the “SCALED” version of the WOD for 3 weeks minimum! The WOD Blog and WOD board will always have the scaled version listed for you.
